Terms of service
Last updated 24 October 2026
Screenlint is a service run by Abhishek Shori, an individual (a sole trader) based in India, under the name Screenlint. In these terms "we" and "us" mean Screenlint. They cover screenlint.com and every review we do for you. By requesting access, uploading a build or paying for a review, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, write to us at audits@screenlint.com.
What Screenlint does
You send a simulator build of your iPhone app. We install it on a fresh iOS Simulator on a Mac, record its launch, and an automated walkthrough moves through the app and captures each screen it reaches in light mode, dark mode and the largest text size. Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, reviews those captures, and we read the report before it goes to you. You get a private link to the report, which works for 90 days unless you delete the report sooner.
You pick the phones: iPhone Duo, a standard iPhone (tested on iPhone 18 Pro), or both, with a report for each phone. On each one we check your app's main everyday flows, with targeted dark-mode and large-text checks, and the report states exactly what was tested. Every review has findings with severity, evidence, impact and the guideline each one breaks, plus a recommended change, an effort estimate and implementation notes for each finding, and a suggested order of work. Fixes as pull requests are not offered yet.
What you agree to
- You only send builds you own or are allowed to have reviewed.
- You don't send anything designed to harm the machines it runs on or to get at data that isn't yours.
- If you give us a test login, it is for a test account, not a real customer's account, and nothing it can reach costs real money.
- You keep your upload link to your own team. Each link takes a set number of builds, shown on the upload page.
What a report is, and what it isn't
A report is a careful, evidence-based review of the screens the walkthrough reached, checked against Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, with WCAG 2.2 level AA where the HIG points to a measurable threshold. It is not a guarantee that every issue was found, a certificate of accessibility compliance, or a promise that your app will pass App Store review. A simulator can't show device performance, haptics, the camera, Apple Pay or push notifications, and the walkthrough is told never to buy, send, delete or change account details, and refuses any control labelled to buy, pay, send, share, delete or sign out, so screens behind those actions aren't covered. Every report says which screens it covers.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the home page, in US dollars, per review of one app. During early access your first review is free.
Paid reviews are paid for before the review starts. Orders are processed by our online reseller, Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for every order. Paddle takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, sends your receipt or invoice, and handles billing questions and refunds. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to the purchase. Questions about a payment or a refund go to payment@screenlint.com.
Refunds
You get a full refund if the audit fails on our side or your app can't be launched in the simulator. There is no refund once a report has been delivered. The refund policy has the details.
Your app and your report
Your app is your intellectual property, and it stays yours. We use your build only to make your report: we check that it is a simulator build, install it on a simulator and use it the way a person would. We never decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, we never compile, modify or rebuild it, and we never share it, sell it, or use it to train any AI model. No person at Screenlint opens it. We delete it as soon as your report is ready, and never keep it longer than 7 days.
We sign your own non-disclosure agreement on request: email audits@screenlint.com before you upload. Your report and its screenshots are kept for 90 days so your private link keeps working, and you can delete them sooner with the "Delete this report now" button on the report, or by emailing us.
The report is yours to use and share inside your company as you like. We won't publish your report, show your screens, or name you as a client without asking you first. Any sample report on this site is of an open-source app, never a client's.
How we handle your data, and who helps us run the service, is in the privacy policy.
Emails sent to audits@screenlint.com are sorted automatically by an AI model, and every one of them also reaches our inbox, where we read it. For routine requests (where your report is, whether we sign an NDA, or deleting your report) the sorting can send an automatic reply: a line on where your audit stands, a short acknowledgement, or a link to confirm deleting a report, which goes only to the address the audit was booked under and deletes nothing until you press its button. An automatic reply is not a promise or a legal commitment; if it doesn't answer your question, reply to it and we will.
When we can say no
We can decline a request for access, or stop a review, for example when a build looks like it is meant to cause harm. If you paid for a review we stop, you get a full refund.
Liability
Screenlint is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, our total liability for a review is limited to what you paid for it, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes; the date at the top says when. The terms in force when you ordered a review apply to that review.
